My story
Vanessa Lazzari (Garibaldi, 1990) is a visual artist and designer whose practice moves fluidly between art, design, and décor. She holds a degree in Advertising from PUC-RS and a postgraduate specialization in Interior Design. In art, Vanessa found a path of personal and professional reinvention. After years immersed in the intense world of advertising agencies and large corporations, she chose to step away from that environment to dedicate herself fully to her true creative essence.
Her work is marked by a deep aesthetic sensitivity and an experimental approach to textile materials such as fabrics, cords, and threads, often combined with paper, metal, or cement. This interplay of textures and elements reveals a distinctive visual language in which the delicacy of handcraft meets the strength of contemporary sculpture.
Passionate about craftsmanship and architecture, Vanessa brought her artistic practice into the realm of interior décor with the creation of the Plantae Collection—a series of sculptural works inspired by the exuberance of Brazilian flora. Crafted in vibrant velvet, her artistic plants and flowers captivate through their innovative forms, originality, and beauty.
Vanessa has been invited to develop exclusive pieces for renowned brands, and her work has been featured in major exhibitions and publications within the design and architecture scene, including Casa Cor, Design Weekend, Casa Vogue, and Folha de S. Paulo. Her creations have also appeared on nationally broadcast television programs such as Mais Você with Ana Maria Braga (2022), Decora on GNT (2021 and 2022), Big Brother Brasil (2022, 2023, and 2024), and Encontro with Patrícia Poeta (2024).
Design

It all began with a simple desire: to have plants indoors.
But long before the “urban jungle” trend spread across the world, Vanessa Lazzari was already searching for a way to bring greenery inside — without success. Natural plants wouldn’t survive, and between one attempt and another, a question emerged that would change everything: “What if I created my own plants?”
Using fabric remnants from another studio, Vanessa began to experiment with form, texture, and color. What started as an everyday frustration transformed into a poetic discovery — a new way of cultivating life through art.
In 2020, the first collection was born: Plantae, inspired by the exuberance of Brazilian flora and the delicacy of handcraft.
Made from vibrant velvet, each piece embodies the meeting of nature and design, revealing the glow of Brazilian identity in compositions that bloom within spaces like living sculptures.
The Maré Collection, in turn, evokes the poetry of the sea — its curves, waves, and infinite rhythms. Each piece is woven with a single continuous thread, symbolizing infinity and the mysteries of the ocean.
It is color. It is life. It is dream.
Every material is carefully selected, with a commitment to maximum use and a sustainable approach. When remnants remain, they are transformed into new works — such as the Protea Mini, created entirely from reused materials.
Velvet, the primary material, was chosen for its sensory richness: it conveys comfort and depth, reflecting light in shifting nuances of color that change with every touch.
Craftsmanship
It's handmade. It's Brazilian.
Each piece passes through hands that lovingly shape leaves, flowers, and vases—a dance between precision and poetry. No creation will be the same as another, and it is in this "perfect imperfection" that the unique beauty of each work resides.
